QuorumPeak

The incubator for builders who'd rather ship than pitch.

Up to $50,000 invested per member, equity-free. Rolling admissions. Senior cloud and AI engineering help for early-stage founders who need capital and technical leverage, not a demo-day calendar — delivered 100% remotely, wherever you're building.

The program

QuorumPeak works with a small number of early-stage software teams at a time. Members get direct cash investment — $25,000 initial, up to $50,000 total per member, equity-free — plus senior engineering attention, a clear operating cadence, and concrete technical work tied to product milestones.

01 Screen Tell us what you're building and where you're stuck. We read every application and look for real product motion.
02 Join Accepted startups sign a simple member agreement. No equity, no fees, and no passive mailing-list membership.
03 Build Architecture reviews, cost optimization, AI and automation guidance, and practical launch support.
04 Report Members share outcome updates so the portfolio can be measured on shipped product, revenue, funding, and survival.

What members get

Investment

Cash, not just credits

An initial $25,000 investment per member, with follow-on up to $50,000 total at product milestones. Equity-free and fee-free — the money funds your cloud, tooling, and launch costs.

Architecture

Infrastructure that can survive customers

Reviews for application structure, deployment paths, security posture, data handling, observability, and scale bottlenecks.

Cost

Lower burn without slower shipping

Cost baselines, unit-cost targets, workload right-sizing, and practical tradeoffs between managed services and build-your-own infrastructure.

AI

Production-minded automation

Help with model selection, evals, agent workflows, retrieval, data boundaries, and keeping prototype behavior honest enough for real users.

Launch

Work tied to the next milestone

A focused support plan around the next customer, pilot, revenue milestone, fundraise-ready artifact, or technical unlock.

What we look for

  • Pre-Series B software companies, founded in the last 10 years.
  • A real product in motion — prototype, pilot, or revenue.
  • Technical founders, or founders committed to building alongside us.

Portfolio

QuorumPeak operates studio-style: several member ventures were founded by the team and are labeled related-party plainly. External member startups are published only with founder consent.

Product demos defined as code — versioned, seeded, deterministic — on the open-source MockCloud engine. Related-party.

Community project

Skyway 68

Free, ad-free offline navigation for Rochester MN's downtown skyway and subway system. Built for the public good — no ads, no tracking, ever. Related-party.

The portfolio also includes earlier-stage member ventures — among them a renters insurance carrier in pre-licensing, a network egress-control appliance, and a self-hosted email platform — listed publicly once each has a public product. Active members are expected to engage with the program, keep company information current, and leave the portfolio if the affiliation is no longer real.

Why QuorumPeak

Most accelerators sell access. We provide leverage: senior cloud and AI engineering attention, infrastructure that costs less, and sharper execution on the work that gets a product into users' hands.

Our incentive is your outcome — as the portfolio grows, we'll publish survival, revenue, and follow-on funding results.

About QuorumPeak

QuorumPeak is a remote-first incubator based in Rochester, MN, run by senior cloud and AI engineers who invest cash and engineering directly in member companies — not a fund and not an agency.

The people who review your architecture, cut your cloud costs, and pair on your AI build are the same people who run the program. There is no account layer between founders and the engineers doing the work.

It's equity-free and fee-free by design: our only stake in your company is whether it ships. We keep the portfolio small on purpose so every active member gets real attention.

QuorumPeak was founded by Jonathan “Jon” Holman, a Rochester, MN engineer and entrepreneur with more than twenty years of cloud and software experience.

Free founder consultations

You don't have to be a member. If you're an early-stage software founder stuck on a cloud architecture, cost, or AI problem, book a free consultation.

You'll get real, senior technical direction on the specific thing in front of you — no equity, no fee, and no sales pitch. If it turns into a fit for the program, great; if not, you still leave with a clearer next step.

Member standards

Membership is operational, not ornamental. QuorumPeak keeps a current record of every active startup, the support provided, and the outcome evidence founders choose to share.

Affiliation

Signed and active

Members sign a simple agreement, stay responsive, and participate in the operating cadence agreed at onboarding.

Verification

Accurate company records

Founders provide current company, product, stage, and founder information so the portfolio stays auditable.

Integrity

No inactive membership

Startups that go inactive, misrepresent status, or no longer need the program are removed instead of carried as vanity logos.

FAQ

Do you take equity?
No. The program is equity-free and fee-free.
What happens after applying?
If there is a fit, we schedule a working session around your product, architecture, and current technical bottleneck. From there, we agree on the first concrete support milestone.
How selective is the program?
Small by design. We accept teams only when we can give useful technical attention and maintain a real working relationship.
What does "affiliation" mean?
You're an active member: you signed the agreement, engage with the program, and haven't gone dark. We verify this and remove inactive members.
Where are you based?
We're based in Rochester, MN, but the whole program runs virtually — we work with founders anywhere in the US, and you never need to relocate to work with us.
